Multiple Pixel Xtream^® nodes, consisting of either or both Pixel Xtream^® v2 transcoders and Pixel Xtream^® L2200 streaming media encoders, can be controlled remotely by the Pixel Xtream^® Network Commander application, providing scalability and remote management for large-scale and enterprise transcoding and streaming applications.

A Windows-based desktop or laptop-based software application, Network Commander gives Pixel Xtream users an easy-to-use and economical remote management capabilities. Network Commander allows users to monitor every Pixel Xtream node, access the node's GUI directly to assign transcoding or ingest and encoding jobs, generate statistics, monitor job progress, and get error messages.

Pixel Xtream Network Commander can manage a single Pixel Xtream node or multiple nodes simultaneously from a remote computer.

• Operating System: Windows XP/Vista Servers, with latest service packs installed
• CPU: 1 GHz processor (2 GHz recommended)
• Memory Requirements: Minimum 512 MB RAM
• Display:24-bit color display, 1280 x 800 resolution (recommended)
• Microsoft DirectX^® 9.0c or higher (included in Windows Vista and XP)
