Pixel Xtream® NetCommander and NetCommander Lite
Multiple Pixel Xtream® nodes, consisting of either or both Pixel Xtream New Media Transcoder 2 transcoders and Pixel Xtream L2200 streaming media encoders, can be controlled remotely by the Pixel Xtream NetCommander and NetCommander Lite applications, providing scalability and remote management for large-scale and enterprise transcoding and streaming applications.
NetCommander is a Windows server based application with a browser-based UI that expands enterprise-wide monitoring and remote management capabilities to support distributed hybrid Pixel Xtream server farms. It gives Pixel Xtream users easy-to-use and economical remote management capabilities, allowing them to monitor every Pixel Xtream node, assign transcoding or ingest and encoding jobs, generate statistics, monitor job progress, and get error messages and alerts.
NetCommander Lite is a Windows-based desktop or laptop-based software application that gives Pixel Xtream users basic remote management capabilities. NetCommander Lite allows users to monitor every Pixel Xtream node and access the node's GUI directly to assign transcoding or ingest and encoding jobs, generate statistics, monitor job progress, and get error messages.
Pixel Xtream NetCommander can manage a single Pixel Xtream node or multiple nodes simultaneously from a remote computer.
