The Pixel Xtream^® L2200 is an HD/SD streaming media encoder and transcoder with the ability to ingest live video and video files, encode or transcode the video, and either stream it out in real time or save it to a file.

Intuitive User Interface

Pixel Xtream L2200's intuitive interface gives you complete control over every aspect of the transcoding process. Capture and stream a live video source, ingest live video to a file, or simultaneously convert a single file into any number of target formats, each with a unique set of operations and filters applied. Pixel Xtream L2200 integrates easily into network-based digital media workflows. Project files define encode and transcode settings, video and audio processing functions, delivery options (including watch folders, and web publishing). Settings can be saved as profiles to re-use on future projects. Priorities can be assigned to each job type.

Always-on Enhancement for Superior Performance & Low-touch Operation

As with all Pixel Xtream products, using the built-in Pixel Magic^® intelligent video enhancement engine with it’s always-on adaptive enhancement mode, Pixel Xtream L2200 analyzes the source video and automatically removes noise, distortion, and artifacts that exist in the ingested video, and prevents new distortions introduced in the encoding process. This allows encoding to lower bit rates for all source content while visual quality is boosted at all bit rates with sharper contrast, improved brightness, more vibrant color, and sharper edge details. Pixel Xtream L2200 effortlessly delivers better quality video and services to viewers worldwide and saves on bandwidth costs.

Automated Operation

Pixel Xtream L2200/L2200P can be run in a fully automated mode. Watch folders can be configured to automatically transcode any files that are moved to specified locations, and then the results can be placed into designated locations.
