Pixel Magic CE is CODEC and application independent. By processing the video data directly out of the frame buffer, after the data is decoded or before video data is encoded, Pixel Magic CE can enhance video from any CODEC or raw formats.

Pixel Magic CE innovative algorithms reduce or totally eliminate distortions generated by various types of CODECs, as well as noise and imperfections caused by sensors and LCD displays. In particular, Pixel Magic CE enhances contrast and brightness, skin tone and colors, edges and details. It also provides video signal boosting tailored specifically for LCD displays. These combined capabilities make Ipera's unique technology ideal for video-enabled mobile phones, portable media players (PMPs), pocket PCs, digital cameras and other portable devices.
